Aadi is a milestone film in NTR’s career for many reasons. The Bellamkonda produced, VV Vinayak directed flick is the reason the young star today has an unmatched mass appeal. The producer and the hero are once again teaming up for a mega-budget flick.

Directed by Kandireega director Santosh Srinivas, the movie stars Samantha opposite NTR. The project is said to commence from March next year and Producer Bellamkonda announced that NTR agreed after listening to the script from Srinivas only once. NTR is already working on flims with Srinu Vaitla (Baadsha) and an untitled project for Harish Shankar. This film is set to commence after the shooting for both those films end.

In an interesting twist to the story, Bellamkonda was all set to make Kandireega 2 with Ram (the hero of the original film directed by Srinivas) but changed his mind in the last minute making it a project for NTR with no relation to Srinivas’s earlier film. Ram and Bellamkonda have been having trouble working with each other since Kandireega it is speculated that this might also have been a reason for replacing the hero.
