Amidst chaos, the constitutional amendment bill to allow reservations in promotions has been introduced in Rajya Sabha. BJP MPs desperate attempt to stop the bill from being tabled has failed. Meanwhile, two MPs from the Samajwadi party and Bahujan samaj party  got into a scuffle and soon after that the house was adjourned to meet at 2pm. However, it is anticipated that the opposition MPs will not be present at the house for the voting and will oppose the bill in the upper house.
