The punishment is to be announced later today the minister is even exptected to resign.
Following a complaint by Enforcement Directorate (ED) about his non-cooperation with the probe, the ED registered a case against Parthasarthy in 1999. The case relates to when he was the Managing Director of Hyderabad-based KPR Tele Products Limited according to ED, Parthasarathy did not pay duty on import of machinery for the firm.
