Olympic bronze medalist, ace shuttler Saina Nehwal has signed a 3-year contract worth Rs. 40cr with Rhiti sports, a sports management firm. With this deal, Saina becomes the highest paid women athlete in India. From now on, Rhiti sports will manage all brand endorsements, corporate, patent, digital, photo rights and any other business related agreements. Speaking to the media, Saina said, “The phenomenal achievements of rhiti for the past few years in the field of sports”. Rhiti sports chairman Arun Pandey said that it was a pleasure to sign a contract with Saina who’s won the bronze medal for India and made us all proud. Saina’s contract with Deccan Chargers has ended this week and from now on Rhiti sports will take over. Trade analysts predict that with this deal, Saina’s brand value will increase over the next few years.
