In what should serve as a strong reminder for every youngster writing his CV, Scott Thompson who was till now the CEO of Yahoo has been fired for providing misleading information on his CV. CNN has reported that Scott has now been fired for claiming he has a bachelor’s in Accounting and Computer Science when he infact had a degree only on Computer Science.

While there are people arguing that Scott Thompson was not hired for his Bachelors degree but for his management skills, the Board of Yahoo was not happy that CEO himself would embellish details of his education.
